Mukesh Ambani, the country's richest person and Reliance Industries chief, on Friday promised to invest Rs 3 lakh crore in Gujarat over the next 10 years. He said that he would invest this in several projects, including energy, petrochemicals, new technology but from digital businesses. Reliance Industries Ltd runs the world's largest refinery in Jamnagar, Gujarat. At the same time, it has its petrochemical units in different parts of the state. Addressing the 9th Vibrant Gujarat Summit here, Mukesh Ambani said, "Gujarat is the birthplace of the Reliance and the workplace. Gujarat has always been our first choice and will remain. "Reliance Group has invested billions of dollars in the telecom sector through Reliance Jio. He said, "We have invested nearly three lakh crores of rupees in the state of Gujarat, and have created livelihood opportunities for about 10 lakh people here. Compared to the last decade, Reliance will double its investment and employment in the coming ten years.
Ambani said that Geo's network is ready for 5G services. So now his telecom unit and retail business unit will form a new commercial platform which will connect small retailers, shopkeepers and customers. He said that both the refineries of Jamnagar-based company will now produce more fuel-based products such as low fuel and petrochemical because the world is moving towards the electric vehicle.
